The learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that after the writ petition was filed, the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal on 9th October 2024 has granted interim protection, as was prayed, in Original Application No.1178 of 2024 (R.M. Edlawar Vs. The State of Maharashtra & Ors.). He therefore submits that the purpose of filing the writ petition is served. 2.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. All points raised can be urged before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal in the pending proceedings.
