Though the returnable date was 24th October 2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner by submitting that the extended schedule for admission to NEET(PG)-2024 would be ending tomorrow i.e. 16th October 2024 has sought interim relief.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader on behalf of respondent nos.2 and 3, on instructions, submits that the petitioner can seek admission under Clause 1.2.1 of the Information Brochure wherein 50% quota seats for students under All India Quota are available. This is for the reason that the petitioner has not acquired her MBBS Degree from the State of Maharashtra.

Accordingly, subject to outcome of the writ petition with a further condition that the petitioner would not claim any equity, she is permitted to seek admission in All India 50% Quota under Clause 1.2.1 of the Information Brochure.
