The children of the petitioners are taking education in classes IX and X of Secondary Schools. They are aggrieved by the criteria prescribed for admissibility to the post of Laboratory Assistant by taking into consideration the strength of students only of classes IX and X. According to them, by the Government Resolution dated 28th June 1994, the strength of the students without any reference to classes was taken into consideration while sanctioning such posts. By the impugned Government Resolution dated 28th January 2019, this restriction has been imposed. 2.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 22nd November 2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the respondents.
