It appears that the registry has opined that the Petition would pertain to Single Judge of this Court. 2) One of the grounds on which the impugned penalty order as well as the order of the Appellate Authority is the gross inordinate delay in initiation of disciplinary proceedings. It is contended that the charge sheet pertaining to the events to 20022003 was served on the Petitioners, when they were on the verge of their retirement.

3) Issue notice to Respondents, returnable on 24 March 2025.

4) Mr. Deolekar, the learned AGP waives service on behalf of the Respondent No.1-State. In addition to Court notice, Petitioners to serve Respondents by private service and file affidavit of service.
