The learned AGP places on record a communication dated 16th October, 2024 addressed by the Education Officer (Secondary), Pune Zilla Parishad to the Chairman/ Secretary of the Education Society, vide which, it is declared that the Petitioner is the Senior-most Teacher and is eligible to be Headmaster. Copy of the said communication is marked as 'X' for identification. A further direction has been issued to the Pallavi Wargaonkar, PS [Note: This order is corrected vide speaking to minutes of order dated 16.01.2025.]

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. If the said Education Trust does not abide by the order of the Education Officer dated 16th October, 2024, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Deputy Director of Education with a representation for initiating action against the Management.
