Dr Kantawala learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied if directions are issued to the Assistant Commissioner (2nd respondent herein) to dispose of the petitioner's applications dated 12 February 2024 and 6 August 2024 (Exhibit J and Exhibit J-1 to the paperbook respectively) as expeditiously as possible and in a time bound manner.

Mr Mishra, learned counsel for the respondents, states that both the above applications will be disposed of in accordance with law and on their own merits within 4 weeks

Accordingly, we accept Mr Mishra's statement and direct the Assistant Commissioner (2nd respondent) to act consistently with the same. Dr Kantawala, on instructions, states that the petitioner will not insist on any personal hearing.

This petition is disposed of in the about terms without any orders for costs.
