Leave granted to correct the prayer clauses (a) and (b) of the writ petition by inserting the correct number of the pending Revision Application. The correction be carried out forthwith. 2.

The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of Revision Application No.496 of 2024 that is pending before the State Government as filed under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960.

Considering the fact that the aforesaid proceedings were filed in July, 2024 and as the petitioner is a senior citizen, it is directed that the aforesaid Revision Application be decided within a period of eight weeks of receiving copy of this order. The said proceedings be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law.

By clarifying that all points on merits are kept open, the writ petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms.
