The above Writ Petition was disposed by the order dated 17th October 2024. By this order the Divisional Commissioner was requested to decide and pass orders in the Appeal filed by the Petitioner on 24th April 2024 as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 14th November 2024. The matter was kept on board today for reporting compliance.

Today when the matter is called out, the learned AGP appearing on behalf of the State firstly apologized to the Court for the NOVEMBER 18, 2024 Utkarsh

4.wp.14336.2024.doc Divisional Commissioner not passing the order in the Appeal filed by the Petitioner on or before 14th November 2024. The difficulty cited is that the Divisional Commissioner is busy on election duty, which is to be held on 20th November 2024. She, therefore, requested that some further time be granted for the Divisional Commissioner to comply with the directions given by this Court on 17th October 2024. 3.

Having heard the learned AGP on this limited aspect and considering peculiar facts and circumstances, we direct that the Divisional Commissioner shall decide and pass orders in the Appeal filed by the Petitioners on 24th April 2024 as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 18th December 2024. 4.

We now list the above matter for reporting compliance on 19th December 2024.
