The learned Advocate for the Petitioner has made a request that if the Respondent Bank could consider retaining her for a little more time in Bombay, keeping in view that her son is eight years of age, she would be willing to be moved to Chennai, thereafter.

The learned Advocate for the Bank submits that he will have to take instructions. He reiterates that the Petitioner appeared for the promotional exam, knowing that, if promoted, her posting would be at Chennai. She has accepted the promotion by joining at Chennai. If she desires to stay in Mumbai, she will have to give up her promotion, until she moves to Chennai.
