CORAM : A.S. CHANDURKAR & RAJESH S. PATIL, JJ DATE : 22nd OCTOBER, 2024 P.C. :- Considering the limited relief sought in the writ petition, the same is taken for consideration. The petitioner has preferred a Revision Application under Section 154 (2) of the Maharashtra
2/3 Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 before the State Government raising a challenge to the order dated 9th September 2024. A prayer for grant of interim relief has also been made. Since this request has not been yet considered, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking expeditious consideration of its prayer for interim relief.

In the aforesaid facts, the following directions would serve the ends of justice :- (a) The respondent no.1 through the Secretary, Department of Co-operation or any other competent Authority so empowered shall consider the petitioner's prayer for grant of interim relief in the pending revision application. The said prayer be considered within a period of two weeks of receiving copy of this order. The application be considered and decided on its own merits in accordance with law after hearing all parties.
3/3 (b) Till the stay application is decided, no precipitative steps shall be taken by the respondent nos. 4 to 6.
(c) All contentions of parties on merits are kept open. The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions.
