Considering the limited direction sought in the writ petition which is for expeditious consideration of the stay application in the Revision Application preferred by the petitioner raising a challenge to the order dated 19/04/2024 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Konkan Division, the writ petition is taken up for consideration. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the respondents.

In proceedings filed under Section 50 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, the Additional Commissioner on 19/04/2024 dismissed the appeal preferred by the petitioner. It is seen that during the pendency of this appeal, the initial order 1/2

3-WP-14468-24.doc Rameshwar Dilwale passed by the Deputy Collector on 29/01/2024 had been stayed. In that view of the matter, the interests of justice would be served by issuing the following directions:- i) The Secretary, Ministry of Revenue and Forest shall consider the petitioner's prayer for grant of interim relief in Revision Application No.3493 of 2024 within a period of three weeks of receiving copy of this order.

ii) The prayer for interim relief be considered after hearing all concerned parties and in accordance with law. All points raised on merits are kept open. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions.
