1) The Petition was taken up for hearing in the morning session. To the query of the Court, as to whether the Petitioners have been informed about considering their representation dated 19th August 2024, the learned A.G.P. could not give satisfactory answers and therefore we had requested the learned Advocate General to assist this Court. 1.1) At our request, the learned Advocate General appears. An Affidavit dated 19th October 2024 of Smt. Shubhangi R. Bharde, Deputy Collector and Electoral Returning Officer, Nashik, is tendered across the bar. 1/2

Osk 16-Wp-14542-2024.doc To the said Affidavit, a communication dated 18th October 2024, duly signed by the said Authority is annexed as Exh.R-1. Perusal of the said Exh. R-1 indicates that, the representation of the Petitioner has been decided by the concerned Authority and he has been informed the result of the same. 2) Learned Advocate General submitted that, if the Petitioner is not satisfied with the communication dated 18th October 2024, he is entitled to prefer an Appeal under the provisions of The Registration of Electors (Amendment) Rules, 2016.

3) In view thereof, by reserving the said remedy in favour of the Petitioners, Petition is disposed off.
