The license of the petitioner to run a hotel was cancelled on 9th September 2024. The petition challenging the said cancellation was filed in this Court on 10th October 2024 as stated by the learned counsel Mr. Rajpurohit. The circulation was granted before the Division Bench on 22nd October 2024 and the Court directed the Registry to ascertain whether the petition would lie before the learned Single Judge. Accordingly, Registry vide Report dated 24th October 2024 has verified and observed that this matter would lie before the Single Bench.

In my view, since no steps were taken from 9th September 2024 till 10th October 2024 to challenge the cancellation and the hotel is already closed, no urgency is made out for interference by the vacation Court. However, at the request made by the learned counsel Mr. Rajpurohit, place the matter before the Regular Court on the reopening i.e., 11th November 2024.
