The State Government has introduced a Government Resolution dated 2nd February, 2024. Candidates, who desire to take benefit of the said Government Resolution, have to file a representation. If a candidate is entitled for the old pension scheme, the said Government Resolution permits the appropriate Authority to consider all the factors and arrive at a decision as to whether such a request can be accepted or not.

Petitioner Nos. 1 to 8 have filed their representations with Respondent No.5, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parisahd,

Trupti 99-wp-14604-2024.odt Pune and Petitioner Nos. 9 to 12 have filed their representations with Respondent No. 6, District Malaria Officer, Pune. 3.

An innocuous prayer put forth by the Petitioners is that their representations may be considered in the light of the said Government Resolution.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. 5.

The representations of Petitioner Nos. 1 to 8 and Petitioner Nos. 9 to 12, the details of which are set out in paragraph 8 of the memo of the Petition, are pending with Respondent No.5 and Respondent No. 6, respectively. They shall be dealt with in the light of the Government Resolution dated 2nd February, 2024 and a decision that may be arrived at by the Competent Authority, shall be communicated to these Petitioners, within 60 days.
