The Petitioners have put forth the prayer clauses (B) and (C) as under :

"B] By issuing writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct respondent No.3 Joint Director to release the payment of salary of the Petitioners No. 1 & 2 from the month of August, 2023 to onwards.

C] By issuing writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct respondent No.3 Joint Director and Respondent no. 5 college to fix payment of salary of the petitioners as per the 7th pay commission and to release the benefits accordingly and with their consequential benefits in favour of the Petitioners No. 1 & 2".

The grievance of the Petitioners is that their salary bills were earlier not forwarded by the then Principal of the college. The said Principal is now under scrutiny. Since the committee has been constituted, a new Principal has now been appointed on 24th August, 2024.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that just now, during the course of the hearing of this matter, one of the Petitioners has informed him that Respondent No.3 has rejected the bills. The learned Advocate, therefore, prays for leave to amend and add prayers.

Considering the above, we grant leave to amend and add prayers. Amendment be carried out, on or before 25th October, 2024 and a copy of the amended Petition be served on the Respondents. 5.

List this Petition for admission hearing on 13th November, 2024, in the fresh admissions category.
