The petitioner is aggrieved by the challan No.MH76261230708171208 dated 8 July 2023 issued by respondent No.3 whereby the petitioner's ambulance being a commercial vehicle bearing registration No. MH-48-K-0612 is not permitted to enter the limits of Mumbai city. This is on the ground that the said vehicle is a commercial vehicle, more than 8 years old and hence not permitted to ply in the city.

Learned counsel for the petitioner makes a statement that the petitioner is ready and willing to comply with all the terms and conditions of the challan dated 8 July 2023 and deposit of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand Rupees only) Shubham 1/2

2 WP-14706-2024.doc with respondent No.3 and furnish an appropriate undertaking in this regard. A coordinate bench of this Court has released the vehicles on similar terms, by an order dated 3 January 2025 passed in writ petition No.17371 of 2024. 3.

On such compliance as noted above being made by the petitioner within a period of three days from the order being made available, the respondents are directed to release the petitioner's vehicle forthwith. 4.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs. 5.
