Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

After the Court expressed its disinclination to entertain the Petition, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the Petition. Learned Counsel, however, submits that the hearing of the appeal may be directed to be expedited.

Leave granted.

As the decree is one for recovery of possession of the premises and the appellant has been directed to pay compensation, it may be expedient in the interest of justice to request the Appeal Court to hear and decide the Appeal as expeditiously as possible.

The Writ Petition stands disposed as withdrawn. 6.

The learned District Judge seized with Regular Civil Appeal No.99 of SSP 1/2

37 wp 14714 of 2024.doc 2022 is requested to make an endeavour to decide the said Appeal as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.
