The petitioners are aggrieved on account of inaction on the part of the Education Officer (Secondary)-respondent no.1 who is seeking approval over the proposal dated 20th July 2016 submitted by the management of Jawaharlal Nehru High School.

2. The petitioner no.1 has pleaded that he submitted application for the post of Peon under the open category pursuant to the advertisement published for recruitment of 6 Peon posts. According to the petitioner, his appointment was approved by the Education Officer (Secondary) on 19th October 2013, and later on, his service was made permanent with effect from 1st July 2016 vide resolution dated 25th June 2016. 1/2

Rameshwar Dilwale 122-WP-14850-24.doc Consequent upon the said Resolution passed by the management of Jawaharlal Nehru High School, a proposal was submitted with the Education Officer (Secondary) on 20th July 2016.

In the aforesaid background, the petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction upon the Education Officer (Secondary) to dispose of and take a final decision on the proposal dated 20th July 2016 within six weeks. There is no opposition by the learned counsel for the respondents to the aforesaid prayer made in this writ petition.

4. Therefore, Writ Petition No.14850 of 2024 is disposed of with a direction to the Education Officer (Secondary)- respondent no.1 to take a final decision on the proposal dated 20th July 2016 within six weeks.
