Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 05/12/2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for the respondent nos.1 to 3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner on his prayer for grant of ad-interim relief , prima facie we find that the object behind issuance of the guidelines by the Election Commission of India from 21st July 2024 would require a broader interpretation of the expression "against whom a criminal 1/2
