1.
The Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Petitioner (Life Insurance Corporation of India) stated that due to subsequent developments, the reliefs sought in the above Writ Petition have been rendered infructuous. He, therefore, sought leave to withdraw the above Writ Petition. He, however, made it clear that by withdrawing the above Writ Petition, it should not be construed to mean that the issues raised in the above Writ Petition cannot be raised in future if the need arises. Considering the aforesaid statement, the above Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
2.
We make it clear that the issues raised in the above Writ Petition can always be raised by the Life Insurance Corporation of India in the future, if the need so arises.
4.
It is needless to also clarify that the Life Insurance Corporation of India is also at liberty to make a representation to the Election Commission of India in relation to the issues raised in the above Writ Petition.
5.
In light of the disposal of the above Writ Petition, nothing survives in the Interim Application filed therein and the same is disposed of accordingly.
