Perused the praecipe dated 12.08.2025 and copy of both Writ Petitions.

Heard Mr. Deshpande, learned Advocate for Respondent in both Writ Petitions.

The grievance in the present case is that Writ Petitions have not been circulated by Petitioner namely Army Institute of Technology and Others, despite they being filed last year.

The challenge in the Petitions are to the judgements of the Grievance Redressal Committee dated 02.02.2024 passed in Complaint Nos.91 of 2021 and 90 of 2021 filed by Respondent in both Petitions. 6.

By virtue of the said judgements, Petitioners were directed to pay entire arrears in respect of Travel Allowance and City Local Allowance from the date of joining till the date of actual realisation within a period of two months from date of said judgements to Respondent in both Writ Petitions.

Today we are almost more than 18 months after the passing of said judgement. There is no stay either on the said judgements. 8.

Today Mr. Deshpande informs the Court that total arrears of Travel Allowance and City Local Allowance as awarded by the impugned judgements is approximately Rs.7,00,000/- in both Writ Petitions.

The Petitioners have merely filed the Petitions and kept them pending. Writ Petitions are mentioned by Advocate for Respondent in both Writ Petitions.

Petitioners shall be given one opportunity. If this Court finds that what Mr. Deshpande has stated is true then Petitioners will be directed to bring the entire amount of the aforesaid arrears of allowances to Court to show their bonafides.

List the matter on 19th August, 2025. Copy of this order shall be served on Advocate for Petitioners.

Praecipe is disposed.
