Having heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner for some time and expressing our view that there is an alternate efficacious remedy available to the Petitioner before the Central Administrative Tribunal. This is in light of the judgment of the Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar vs. Union of India and Ors.1 and the observations in paragraph 91 thereof. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner has sought leave to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to file appropriate proceedings before the Central Administrative Tribunal ("CAT" for short). (1997) 3 SCC 261 Pallavi 1/2
