The grievance of learned counsel for the Petitioner is that in an Application seeking mutation of the Revenue records, the Tahasildar has directed the handing over the possession which can be permitted only under the provisions of the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable after a period of six weeks. Learned AGP waives notice on behalf of the Respondent Nos.15 and 16.
