With consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is heard finally.

In this writ petition, the petitioners, inter alia, seek a direction to the revisional authority to decide Revision Application No. RAV/2024/CR230/15.C pending before the revisional authority within a stipulated time and to stay the impugned judgement and order dated 1st March 2024 passed by the Registrar, Co-operative Societies.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that being aggrieved by the order dated 1st March 2024 passed by the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, the petitioners have filed a

10-WP.16263.2024 Revision Application under section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 along with an application for stay on 6th March 2024, however, till today, the application for stay has not been decided.

Learned counsel for respondent nos. 3 to 5 submits that the revision application shall be decided within such time limit as may be directed by this Court.

In the aforesaid circumstances, taking into account the fact that the application for stay is pending before the revisional authority for more than 10 months, we deem it appropriate to direct the revisional authority to decide the application for stay filed by the petitioners within a period of four weeks from today. 6.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

Learned Additional Government Pleader shall communicate this order to the revisional authority forthwith. 8.
