The limited request made by the petitioners is for consideration of the request made for grant of permission to excavate Minor Minerals from Gat No.308/1, Plot No.7 situated at Village Nagewadi, Taluka & District Satara. It is pointed out that in the earlier round of litigation, this Court by the order dated 30th August 2024 passed in Writ Petition No.11918 of 2024 had directed the Tahsildar, Satara to re-consider the petitioners' applications dated 13th June 2024 and 5th August 2024 in accordance with the prevailing Rules. Pursuant thereto, the Tahsildar on 25th September 2024 has sought furnishing of various documents mentioned in the said communication to be done by the petitioners. petitioners that by communication dated 29th September 2024, all the relevant documents have been submitted. The petitioners however submit that they do not own any transportation vehicle and hence details of the same cannot be furnished. It is for this reason that the petitioners' applications are not yet decided.

In the aforesaid facts, the following directions would serve the ends of justice :- [ (a) Within a period of one week from today, the petitioners shall inform the Tahsildar, Satara that they do not possess transportation vehicles, details of which were sought vide the communication dated 25th September 2024. In addition, the petitioners shall furnish information with regard to the mode of transportation of such excavated Minor Minerals. All other documents mentioned in the said communication shall be supplied by the petitioners. (b) Within a period of ten days of receiving such communication from the petitioners, the Tahsildar, Satara shall take a decision on the petitioners' applications dated 13th June 2024 and 5th August 2024.
(c) In case the petitioners are aggrieved by any adverse 2/3
adjudication, they are free to take steps in accordance with law.
