The challenge raised in this writ petition is to the Notification dated 10th October 2024 issued by the Ministry of Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles by which the market fees charged by Agricultural Produce Market Committees in the State of Maharashtra, which has been fixed at a minimum rate of "seventy-five paise" and maximum rate of "hundred paise" by an earlier Notification dated 7th October 1986, came to be modified. The market fees were reduced to a minimum of "twenty-five paise" and maximum of "fifty paise". The petitioner-Federation being aggrieved sought to challenge this Notification dated 10th October 2024. 2.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 15th October 2024, the said Department has issued a Corrigendum and has restored the 1/2 Digitally signed by SNEHA ABHAY DIXIT Date:

figures that were mentioned in the initial Notification dated 7th October 1986. The said Corrigendum is taken on record and marked "A" for identification.

In view of the aforesaid, the purpose of filing the writ petition is served. Needless to state that in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any future Notification, it would be open to raise the points as urged in this writ petition in future.

The writ petition is disposed of.
