Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is an inordinate delay in adjudicating upon and disposing of the show cause notice dated 5 September 2022 issued to the petitioner. He points out that the respondents are also not deciding to release the petitioner's seized goods and issue a Detention Waiver Certificate. 3.

Based on written instructions, learned counsel for the respondent, Mr. Chandrashekhar, states that the above matter would be decided within two weeks after giving the petitioner a personal hearing.

Revati 2 912-WP.16563.2024.docx Accordingly, we accept the above statement and direct the respondents to dispose of all three matters referred to by the learned counsel for the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within two weeks from today. The respondents must give a personal hearing to the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will avail of the opportunity of a personal hearing on the date that the respondent indicates.
