The above Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to Respondent No.1 to decide the application filed by the Petitioner in respect of his land situated at Village-Borje, Tal.-Pen, Dist.Raigad and which forms part of the order dated 16th June, 2005 issued by Respondent No.2. Since this is the limited relief sought in the above Writ Petition, we direct Respondent No.1 to decide the application filed by the Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of eight weeks from today. It is needless to clarify that we have not opinied on any issues raised in the above Writ Petition and all issues including the issue of jurisdiction, are expressly kept open to be decided by Respondent No.1. 2.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
