Since an innocuous prayer has been put forth, we are not issuing notice to the Management.

The Petitioner's father passed away on 22nd August, 2020 while working as an Assistant Teacher. On 22nd October, 2020 the Petitioner made an application to the Respondent No. 4 Management for seeking compassionate appointment. The said application was tendered even to Respondent No. 3, who issued the letter dated 11th December, 2020 requesting the Management to deal with the application of the Talwalkar

16.WP16802.2024.odt Petitioner. The grievance is that the Application of the Petitioner is still pending.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the Management to deal with the application of the Petitioner within a period of 60 days from today, if not already decided. The Education Officer Respondent No. 3 would ensure that the claim of the Petitioner is not frustrated, if the Management makes an appointment of a candidate who has applied later in point of time vis-a-vis, the Petitioner. The Petitioner shall serve a copy of this order on Respondent No.4, by Speed Post A.D.
