In so far as this petition is concerned, Mr. Deshpande, learned counsel for the acquiring body has submitted that within a period of four weeks from today, the land of the petitioners being the suit land i.e. Gat No.288/A/2 and Gat No.288/A/3 admeasuring area 1 H 65 R situated at Village Mudshingi, Taluka - Karveer, Dist. Kolhapur, shall be acquired by negotiation and the compensation amount be paid to the petitioners. Pallavi Wargaonkar, PS

In so far as the shed on the property belonging to private respondents are concerned, Mr. Haridas on instructions, has stated that the petitioners had made their stand clear and abiding by clause 2 of the leave and license agreement, respondent Nos.1 to 3 are free to take away the shed.

We accept the statement as made by Mr. Haridas. Thus, in the aforesaid circumstances accepting Mr. Deshpande's statement as also assurance on behalf of the State Authorities that the land acquisition proceedings by negotiation would be completed, we dispose of the proceedings.

Let appropriate compliance be placed on record after four weeks from today, for which the proceeding be listed under the caption 'For Compliance' on 2 January 2025.
