1) It is an admitted fact on record that, the Petitioner by his communication dated 15th February, 2024 has agreed to pay the necessary charges levied by the Respondent-Corporation for the poles used by the Petitioner for laying its cables. Petitioner thereafter has got himself registered with the Respondent-Corporation by filing Registration Form dated 22nd May, 2024.

2) As the Petitioner has failed to pay the necessary charges levied by the Respondent-Corporation, it has issued final Notice dated 10th September, 2024 calling upon the Petitioner to deposit the said amount of 1/2

dtg 14-Wp-16960-2024.doc Rs.9,35,663/- within a period of two days from the date of receipt of the said Notice, failing which the Respondent-Corporation would remove the wiring of the Petitioner's network. As the Petitioner has agreed to pay the necessary charges, there is no reason to grant any indulgence to the Petitioner in that behalf.

3) However, at the profuse request of learned counsel for the Petitioner, we grant the Petitioner a further week's time to deposit the said amount mentioned in Notice dated 10th November, 2024 with the exchequer of the Respondent No.1 Corporation, from the date of uploading of the present Order on the official website of High Court, Bombay. 4) Petition is disposed off in the aforesaid terms.
