The only prayer made in the present writ petition is for expeditious consideration of the stay application made by the petitioners in the proceedings filed under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 before the Sub-Divisional Officer. In the said proceedings, the order dated 9th March 2024 passed by the Tahsildar is under challenge. Since the order passed by the Tahsildar is being executed, the petitioners have approached this Court.

Considering the nature of directions proposed to be issued, service on respondent no.3 is dispensed with.

It is directed that the respondent no.1-Sub-Divisional Officer shall consider the prayer for stay made by the petitioners in the proceedings 1/2 Digitally signed by SNEHA ABHAY DIXIT Date:

filed under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 within a period of three weeks of receiving copy of this order. The petitioners shall serve copy of this order on respondent no.3. The stay application be considered on its own merits after hearing respondent no.3. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. Parties to act on authenticated copy of this order.
