The Petitioner has passed the 12th standard examination. His claim of belonging to Ellamalvar-(SC-20), has been rejected by the impugned order.

Issue notice to the Respondents returnable on 28th January, 2025. The learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The learned Advocate Mr. G. S. Jadhav waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent No. 3.

Let Affidavit-in-reply be filed at least 10 days prior to the returnable date.

On the next date, after the pleadings are completed, we would hear the Petitioner on the aspect of fraud attributed to him, as he was a minor when the proposal was filed by his guardian for seeking validation. Until further orders, the direction of the Committee to register an offence against the Petitioner who is only 18 years of age, stands stayed.

All office objections to be removed, on or before 7th January, 2025 failing which, the Petition would stand dismissed without reference to the Court, on 8th January, 2025.
