1.
This Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying for the following substantial reliefs :- (a) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to exercise its writ jurisdiction and pleased to call for the record and proceedings on which the respondent No.2 after perusing the legality, propriety and correctness thereof, this Hon'ble court may be further pleased to quash and set aside the order dated 14.10.2024 passed by the respondent no.2.
2.
The learned AGP has submitted that the Review Application was filed by the Petitioners on 7 November, 2024 and within four days of filing of the same, the present Petition is filed on the ground that in view of the election, the Review Authority was not available to hear the proceedings. 30 January, 2025 Vina Khadpe
910-AS-WP-17111-2024.DOC 3.
The Petitioners contend that there are substantial grounds which are raised which would indicate that it was not legally possible that the Order dated 14 October 2024 could have been passed by the Hon'ble Minister. Let all issues be considered by the Review Authority and decision on the Review Application filed by the Petitioners be taken in accordance with law. 4.
Admittedly, now the Review Authority is available and Review Application, accordingly would be taken up and decided by such Authority. Let the same be decided as expeditiously as possible within a period of 2 months from today.
5.
All contentions of the Petitioners on Review Application are kept open. 6.
Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs. (ADVAIT M. SETHNA, J.) (G. S. KULKARNI , J.) 30 January, 2025 Vina Khadpe
