Issue notice to the Respondents returnable on 22nd January, 2025. The learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent No. 1.

The increments were paid to these Petitioners more than one decade ago. Recovery is initiated in 2024. A departmental enquiry has commenced on the ground that the Certificates of typing proficiency that were submitted by these Petitioners, are said to be not from a recognized institution.

In view of the above, we direct status quo as existing today, to be maintained and there shall be no further recovery and the enquiry shall be adjourned.
