On 2nd December 2024, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent nos.1 and 2 was granted time to indicate the period within which the petitioner's proposal seeking release of grant-in-aid that was forwarded to the Secretary, Persons with Disabilities Welfare Department would be decided. Though time was granted on 18th December 2024, the learned Additional Government Pleader is not in a position to make any definite statement.

In view of aforesaid as the proposal is pending with the respondent no.1 since 19th December 2022, it is directed that the same shall be decided on its own merit within a period of eight weeks from today.
