Respondent No.4 and the Petitioner had approached the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Chandrapur in Regular Civil Suit No. 228 of 2014, for seeking a declaration that Plaintiff No.2 is the adopted son of Plaintiff No.1. The sole Defendant is the biological mother of the Petitioner who claims to be an adopted son. This matter was not adjudicated upon by the Trial Court. The compromise terms were tendered stating therein that the biological mother has no objection if her son is adopted by the widow. The Petitioner claims that he was adopted when his adoptive father was alive, on 27th January, 2003. The adoptive Ingale

3-WP-17578-24.odt father passed away on 19th June, 2009 and the Petitioner now claims compassionate appointment on the basis of the compromise terms tendered before the Civil Court.

Such matters deserve to be investigated into. The Respondent-Company with whom the deceased was working, needs to file an affidavit-in-reply, inter alia setting out the names of the nominees that the deceased employee may have nominated while he was in service with the said Company.

Let such affidavit-in-reply be filed on or before 20th March, 2025.
