The mother of the Petitioner passed away while in service on 18th January, 2023. Representation of the Petitioner for compassionate appointment is still not dealt with.

Since a simple prayer has been put forth, and the order which we intend to pass would not be adverse to Respondent No. 2, that we are not issuing notice in this matter.

Let Respondent No. 2 deal with the representation of the Petitioner dated 12th September, 2023 with reference to which, the Talwalkar

16.WP17616.2024.odt requirement indicated by the Respondent No. 2, has also been satisfied and the updated application has been filed on 28th November, 2023. Both these applications would be decided together by Respondent No. 2 within a period of 60 days from the date of the service of this order upon the Respondent No. 2 by speed post A/D, keeping in view the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Malaya Nanda Sethy v/s State of Orissa and others, [AIR 2022 SC 2836]. 4.
