The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of the stay application that has been preferred by the petitioner along with a Review Application filed before the State Government in proceedings under Section 258 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

considered and decided on its own merits by the respondent no.1 - through the Hon'ble Minister or any other Competent Authority within a period of four weeks of production of this order before the respondent no.1. The stay application be considered after hearing all the contesting parties. It is open for the petitioner to make a request for expeditious consideration of the Review Application also. Keeping all points on merits open, the writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions. 4.
