CORAM : PRAVIN S. PATIL, J.
DATE : 24th APRIL, 2026.
P.C. :
1.
None present for the petitioner in the morning session. Therefore, this petition is kept in the afternoon session. However, in the afternoon session also none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. 2.
This Court perused the record to satisfy whether there is any merit in the present petition. The perusal of the record shows that there is a challenge to the proceeding decided by the Deputy Registrar Cooperative Society (Parseva) issued under Section 101 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act.
3.
Under the provision of Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, particularly Section 154 of the Act, there is an efficacious remedy to ZIP
914-WP-18149-2024 (C).doc challenge the order passed by the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Society. However, without taking recourse of the Section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, the present petition is filed before this Court.
4.
In view of the above, as the petitioner is having alternative efficacious remedy of filing the revision under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, in my opinion the petition is not maintainable. Hence, petition stands dismissed. [ PRAVIN S. PATIL, J.] ZIP
