The Petitioner joined employment as an Assistant Desk Officer on 2nd June, 2018 on a post reserved for the Schedule Tribe Category. He claims to be belonging to the Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe. His proposal for seeking validation is pending since 19th July, 2018. According to the Petitioner, the Committee has not progressed with the proceeding. He also submits that Respondent Nos. 1 and 4 are likely to terminate his services since a validity Certificate is not tendered.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off

with the following directions:

A) The Committee shall decide the claim of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 15th June, 2025.

D) The Petitioner would render wholehearted cooperation to the Committee for an expeditious decision. 3.

The Petitioner's services would not be terminated until his claim is validated, either by the Committee or by the Court (if the Committee passes an adverse order) on the condition that the Petitioner would not be entitled for increments/pay revision/ promotion/ service benefits, etc.

Once the Petitioner's claim is validated, he would be entitled for his service benefits.
