Heard Dr. Sabban, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners, Mr. Sagar Varma, learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.3-NHAI and Ms. T. J. Kapre, learned AGP for the Respondent-State. 2.

It is the submission of Dr. Sabban, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners that Petitioners in these petitions have iled representations dated 29th November 2024 stating that multiplier factor for acquired lands in rural area is "2" and therefore the same be applied to the Petitioners' lands. To support his contention, Dr. Sabban relied Patil-SR 1 of

wp 18569 & 15670-2024 upon the recent decision of this Court in Vikrant Happy Homes Pvt. Ltd v. Union of India1 and more particularly paragraph Nos. 18 to 22 thereof. 3.

As the Petitioners' representations dated 29th November 2024 are still pending, we direct Respondent No.2-the Competent Authority and Dy. Collector, Land Acquisition No.11 (CALA), Solapuar to decide the said representations [Exhibit-"D" (page 46) of WP 18569 of 2024 and Exhibit-"F" (page 52) of WP 18570 of 2024] expeditiously, in accordance with law. Respondent No.2 shall also decide the said representations on or before 30th July 2026.

It is clariied that this Court has not considered merits of the matter and all contentions on merits are expressly kept open. 5.
