The writ petition was decided on 10th January 2025. However, with a view to safeguard the interest of the minor - the petitioner no.1, we deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner no.3 to file an affidavit indicating the steps that would be taken to safeguard the future interest of the petitioner no.1. The affidavit shall indicate that the petitioner no.3 has accepted the petitioner no.1 as his son for all purposes including succession.
