1) The challenge in these Petitions is to the orders dated 21 October 2024 and 19 November 2024 respectively fixing the interim compensation in respect of the suit premises @ Rs.7,000/- per month under Order XV-A of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (the Code). 2) Attention of this Court is drawn to the order passed by this Court in Omprakash Jamuna Singh & Anr. Megha 11 &12_wp_18924 & 18925_24 Limited 1 in which this Court has reduced quantum of interim compensation to Rs.5,000/- per month. In that view of the matter, the impugned orders are modified to the limited extent of reduction of quantum of interim compensation from Rs.7,000/- to Rs.5,000/-. Rest of the impugned orders of the Appellate Bench shall remain unaffected. The Petitioners shall have time of 12 weeks for the purpose of depositing the arrears of interim compensation.
