Heard Mr. Makarand Kale, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner.

Mr. Kale, learned Counsel submits that the learned Family Court has granted an aggregate amount of Rs.22,000/- per month to the wife and the son and the said amount directed to be paid as maintenance is very exorbitant taking into consideration the income of the Petitioner. He states on instruction of the Petitioner, that the Petitioner without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the Petitioner, will pay 50% of the amount towards maintenance i.e. Rs. 11,000/- per month to the Respondent-wife for maintenance of wife and son till further orders. He states that said amount with effect from January 2025 will be paid per

919-WP-18936-2024.doc month on or before 15th day of each month. The said statements made by Mr. Kale, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, on instructions are accepted as undertakings given to this Court. 3.

In view of said statement issue notice to the Respondent, returnable on 4th February 2025.

In addition to the Court notice, the Petitioner to serve the Respondent by private service and shall file affidavit of service before the returnable date.

In view of the statement made by learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner which has been accepted as undertaking given to this Court, ad interim relief in terms of prayer clause (b). [MADHAV J. JAMDAR, J.]
