Mr Talkute, learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that in this case the Petitioners' property has not been acquired. He states that the properties are claimed to be acquired by making a mutation entry which is impermissible. He placed on record order dated 01 August 2024 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench in the Writ Petition No. 10786 of 2024, in similar facts, the Petitioners's possession was protected. He points out that in a communication dated 27 December 2024
62-WP-18990-24.DOCX the DRO has written to the Deputy Inspector of Land Records to allot the Petitioners' land to some other parties. 5.
Considering the above, we direct the parties to maintain status-quo until the next date.
