The Petitioner has made a complaint dated 1 October 2024 to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in which the Petitioner has requested the TRAI to do the following:- "(i) Issue directions to all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block access to the following URLs that contain my photographs:

(ii) Take necessary steps to prevent the re-uploading of these photographs on other platforms or websites.

906-WP-19478-2024.DOCX (iii) Issue advisory guidelines to social media platforms and content hosts regarding the protection of individual privacy rights and the need for prompt on takedown requests."

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the above complaint is not being attended to. He further states that according to him, TRAI is the correct authority duly empowered under the law to issue directions to all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to remedy the Petitioner's grievance. 4.

Since the Petitioner's complaint dated 1 October 2024 has not yet been disposed of, we direct the TRAI to examine the complaint in accordance with law and on its own merits and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event within six weeks from the Petitioner serving an authenticated copy of this order upon the TRAI. 5.

Besides, the Petitioner is also given liberty to explore any other alternate remedies that the Petitioner might have in this matter. This Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
