We have heard the learned counsel for the parties. Pursuant to earlier interim directions, the Higher and Technical Education Department has now granted an extension of its recommendation to the Petitioner for starting Three Years LL.B. Course for academic session 2025-26. In that backdrop, time was sought by the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent to obtain instructions. Today it is submitted that if a fresh application seeking approval of the 1st respondent is moved by the Petitioner, the same would be considered in accordance with law. 1/3

Accordingly, the following directions are issued :- (i) The Petitioner is permitted to make a fresh application, for starting Three Years LL.B. Course for academic session 2025-26, seeking approval of the 1st respondent by 10th April 2025.
(ii) If such application is made, the 1st respondent shall conduct an inspection as regards proposed facilities made available at the Petitioner's Institution by 30th April 2025 and shall also take into consideration compliances already made by the Petitioner. Deficiencies, if any, shall be communicated to the Petitioner on or before 3rd May 2025. The same shall be removed by the Petitioner within a period of fifteen days from communication of the same.
(iii) Final inspection, if required, be conducted prior to 31st May 2025.
(iv) A decision in the matter of grant of approval be taken within a period of seven days thereafter.
(v) The approval, if granted, would thus facilitate the Petitioner for conducting Three Years LL.B. Course from academic session 2025-26.

With aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 4.
Needless to observe that all statutory requirements shall be complied with by the Petitioner.
