By Government Resolution (GR) dated 15/06/2023, the Petitioner was permitted to start law college for the academic session 2023-24. On the ground that necessary permission from the Bar Council of India was not received, the Petitioner approached this Court. 2.

It appears that as per GR dated 15/06/2023, the said permission/approval was only during the earlier academic year. However, on 24/07/2024, the Petitioner has made a request for extending such permission for the next academic year. This request is pending with the Higher and Technical Education Department.

Notwithstanding the fact that approval of the Bar Council of India is akn

915.WP.19517.2024 .doc awaited, as that issue is also involved in the present Writ Petition, it is directed that within a period of two weeks, the Respondent No. 2 shall consider the Petitioner's application dated 24/07/2024 and take decision thereon in accordance with law.
