Mr. Vikas Agarwal, the learned counsel for the appellant states that he has just entered his appearance in this First Appeal and the lower Court records are awaited.

This Court, by an order dated 20th March 2025 in Interim Application No. 8421 of 2024, directed the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited to deposit the balance of the award amount with the Registry of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) along with accrued interest as directed on the entire amount of compensation as awarded, that is, Rs. 2,47,75,456/- within eight weeks.

Being aggrieved by the said order, the appellant approached the Hon'ble Supreme Court by filing Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.17696 of 2025.

Vide order dated 9th September 2025 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 17696 of 2025 filed against the aforesaid order

9-FA.693.2024.doc dated 20th March 2025 passed in Interim Application No. 8421 of 2024, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has observed that the High Court sould consider and dispose of the appeal expeditiously. 5.

Let the lower Court records be called for. In the meantime, the appellant-Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited shall prepare paper-book and submit the same in the Registry with copy thereof served upon the respondents.
